The Regatta will be held in Hósvík, A wide range of boats participate. Distance 9.7 nautical miles from Eiði through the beautiful Sundalagið.
From Eiði: Ticket sales and a kiosk open at 1 PM. The mayor of Eiði, Jógvan í Skorini, will officially open the Regatta. Rowboats depart at 3:00 PM, followed by other boats at 3:30 PM.

Safety: Rescue boats Vón, Sverri, and Lív will be present, and all participants are asked to follow good seamanship.
Sailing: Guests enjoy the trip their own way – often with traditional Faroese snacks, music from harmonicas and such, fun for both children and adults.
The Rowers: Many rowers use this event to end the rowing season. Most rowing boats stop at Grønhólmur for traditional Faroese dancing before continuing the last stint towards Hósvík.

Camping & Celebration: Campers start arriving in Hósvík as early as Thursday. People explore the village and get ready to welcome all the boats.
In Hósvík: Locals warmly welcome everyone—boaters, campers, and visitors. The evening includes a delicious dinner by Ruben Busk at the community house, open to all guests.
Harbor Area: Old boathouses are transformed into food stalls and live music venues, featuring Anton Liljedahl, Herborg Torkilsdóttir, and Sámal Ravnsfjall. You’ll find waffles, hot dogs, drinks, and more. Kids can play on the sand with toys available to borrow.

Evening Program: Enjoy a sing-along lead by Janus Trúgvason and a speech by Hans David Hansen, then dance the night away with the band Vinmenn in the community hall. Entry for the dance: 150 DKK.
Saturday Morning: Locals serve breakfast in the community house from 8–11 AM, and coffee can be bought in the boathouse from 10 AM - 1 PM. Some boats continue on to Nólsoy for Ovastevna festival.

Adults: 200 DKK
Children (4–14): 100 DKK
Includes parking for boat/camper, dinner, harbor entertainment, and Saturday morning breakfast.Guests receive a paper wristband for dinner and a woven wristband for access to the event and breakfast.
